Questions, bug reports, wrong data, or feature ideas — write to support@dashhq.app.
Including your device model, iOS version, app version and a screenshot makes things much faster. The app version is at the bottom of the in-app Settings screen.
Frequently asked
How often does the data update?
- Radar echo and radar rainfall estimate: every 10 minutes.
- Weather station observations and air quality: hourly (some stations more often).
- YouBike, parking, reservoirs, power supply: whatever each agency publishes — typically minutes to an hour.
- Fuel prices: CPC announces on Sunday at noon and the app follows. “Next week’s direction” is a forecast computed from the pricing formula, not an official number.
- Trash cans, toilets, breastfeeding rooms, CCTV lists: monthly to yearly, because the sources themselves rarely change.
Why is a layer missing for my city?
Because that city has not published the corresponding open data, or publishes it in a form that cannot be used directly. If you know of a usable public source, please tell us.
The data looks wrong
The app does not modify the numbers it receives from government agencies; it only displays and converts units. Wrong values or facilities that no longer exist usually mean the upstream dataset has not been updated. For anything official, follow the agency’s own announcement. Reports are still welcome — we will check whether it is a parsing or display problem on our side.
The weather Live Activity is not updating
Check, in order: (1) the premium subscription is active; (2) location permission is set to Always — with “While Using”, it cannot switch stations once you leave the app; (3) Background App Refresh is on; (4) Low Power Mode delays background updates. The Live Activity shows measured values from the nearest station, not a forecast, so it will differ from forecast-based weather apps.
I am not getting notifications
Make sure notifications are allowed in Settings → Notifications → DashTW and that the matching toggle in the app’s settings is on. The radar echo alert fires only when the echo at your location goes from nothing to an actual reading, so quiet weather means no alert by design, and repeats are rate-limited.
Subscriptions, cancellation, refunds
- Subscribe or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep access until the period ends.
- New device or reinstall: use “Restore Purchases” in the app’s settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue them.
- Cancelling during the free trial costs nothing. Every map layer and every Home Screen widget is free and needs no subscription.
Privacy
Location is used on the device only and is never uploaded. Full details in the privacy policy.
